Queensland has begun manufacturing passenger trains at a new Torbanlea facility near Maryborough, with 65 six-car trains to be completed by the 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games. The state-of-the-art facility will eventually support approximately 300 jobs across skilled trades, engineering, and administrative roles.
