Hey, welcome to everyone arriving from the /r/BuyAussie post. We've had a big influx of signups today and it's great to see.
The site is still early and the community is small, but it's actively developed and I'm working on it daily. A few things that might help you get started:
- Browse the existing communities and subscribe to anything that interests you
- Create a community if there's a topic you care about that doesn't exist yet
- The Feedback button in the bottom-right corner goes straight to me if you find bugs or have suggestions

We're a very capable country and having travelled a bit, genuinely one of the nicest places to live on the planet. Hopefully more stuff gets made locally.

1 question: Which hosting company are you using?
Binary Lane, they use NextDC facilities in Melbourne, so it's not with any US provider.
